Farewell Friends…

Last Friday - 28th Sep 07 was my last day at the unit. Somehow, there was no hint of sadness leaving this place which I have worked for close to 5 years. Defnitely not for work. I have learnt alot and gain much experiences this past 5 yrs and I am looking forward to learning more new things.

I treated all of my very close khakis and friends with the delicious carrot cake! There was a small episode of the day before when I ordered the cake.

Would like to order 2 summertime carrot cakes - 30 kg each and to collect them tomorrow at 11am. Kindly confirm the order. Thanks.

Their reply to me:

Hi

Thanks for your email! We can have the carrot cakes done for tomorrow - do you actually mean the 1Kg size, $30 each, and not a 30Kg cake right?

Oops…haha…Luckily they are clever enough not to follow my order blindly or else we will be having a mini happy hour giving off carrot cakes for the whole unit… I’m not sure if I’m blur because it was my last day or what…

Mag organised a KTV gathering session for all our khakis at Party World KTV Orchard after work.  This is the first time where we have such gathering out of our working hours and it was FUN!

I have not felt so much happiness with friends since don’t know when… and I feel so so blessed and touched to have such great friends with me! I don’t feel sad because somehow, somewhere in my heart, I know that they would always be there for me when I need them and vice-versa…and I have confident that we wouldn’t lose touch even when we are working at a different location!

Haha… luckily the most corrupted person has left or else both my contact lens would have dropped out.
