Carrot Cake
Alan called me one fine afternoon while he was at work.
“Dear, you want to eat carrot cake? My colleague told me that there is a shop selling very nice carrot cake leh… I’ll buy if you want…”
“Izzit? Ok lor, but when you want to eat? for dinner? I usually eat ‘chai tao kueh’ in the morning one leh….”
“No lar, I mean ‘Carrot Cake’, the ‘Ang Mo baked’ one, not the chinese fried ‘chai tao kueh’…”
“Oh… (*embarassed ) Chay, say properly mah, how i know what you talking about?”
“You never listen properly mah…”
“Ok lar, buy lor.”

So he bought 1/2 kg of the yummy carrot cake.
And trust me, it’s not too much.
It can never be too much for this cake.

This ‘ang mo chai tao kueh’ was indeed delightful. The cake was packed with crunchy walnuts, juicy raisins and topped with a crowd-pleasing velvety white chocolate cream cheese frosting.
Most importantly, it tastes healthy. You can order the cake from Room For Dessert.

They even have real cute cupcakes.
Seems like cupcakes are also the ‘in’ food now.
