Ocean Thirteen

 

Watched Ocean’s Thirteen last night.

The movie is as witty and suave as Ocean’s Eleven and Ocean’s Twelve but not as good.  However, I think that the film succeeded because it gives the audience what they are expecting. Within the first 10-15 minutes after the movie began, they are already planning the villian - Bank’s downfall.

Although the plot was a bit complex (I turned to Alan to ask what are they talking abt a couple of times), it was an absolute thrill.  However, the pace of the movie might be too fast for audiences to understand though.

We had a few good laughs occasionally during the movie (one of the best part was the part whereby the real Five Diamonds Assessor examining the cleaniness of the bed…. muahhaha….)

Despite me saying that it’s a good movie, I don’t find it worth watching in a theatre as there are no sound effects or great cinematography in place. It is one of those movies whereby you can just buy the DVD  (Original!) and watch it at the comfort of your own living room couch.

Overall, I would give it a  (if you watch it in the living room couch).
